Apps Overview

Transistor includes a set of built-in apps for the tasks people do every day. Each app is integrated with your agent, so your AI has context across all of them.

Built-in apps

NotesA fast, local-first note-taking app. Your agent can search, create, and update notes during conversations.
MeetingsPowered by Cassette. Records and transcribes meetings, generates summaries, and extracts action items.
TasksA task and project tracker. Your agent can create tasks from conversation and update their status.
FilesA file browser integrated with your agent. Drag in a document and ask questions about it.

Agent integration

Because your agent has access to all built-in apps, it can work across them. Ask it to "create a task for every action item from last Tuesday's meeting" and it will pull from Meetings and write to Tasks automatically. You do not need to open either app.

Building your own apps

App Studio lets you create custom apps inside Transistor using natural language. Describe what you want and your agent builds it. See the App Studio documentation for details.
